process

my process is a bit complicated i start by thinking of what i wanted to happen. i then drew up story boards. after about 2 rough sketches i add a mood and dialog to see if it fits. i record the dialog in chunks so i can pace it how i want in post. I then draw out the scenes in photoshop and compose them in premiere. i then add the sound pieces.

alternate animation

here is a alternate version with dialog all the way through.

4TH animation installment

this is the very rough very near complete version it even has credits. I  just need to create a score and have it in for the parts thats missing dialog.

Stop Motion

This week we had to score the animation we developed last week. It was quite challenging finding sound effects to accurately portray what i was looking for with out paying for them or building them myself. I am somewhat satisfied with my end result however it did not live up to the potential. I learned a lot from this experience and may have a way better one next time. Here is my product

Roto animation

Ive been trying to learn animation for quite some time. In class we learned a technique called rotoscoping, this was tracing frames to produce a animation. this for me was a no brainer in that i have been practicing drawing frames on paper then retracing them in the computer to get a decent animation. Our assignment was to portray one of 4 instances. show something falling, breaking, water spilling and i cant remember the last one. I tried to go for all 4 in one shot. It took me about 1 hour to get this final product minus the separate soundtrack i made. Enjoy

First Bumper animation?

In animation class ya boi (me) made a bumper animation. which is sort of a logo ish intro that film companies use as a precursor to show they helped in developing something. so check it out. no sound btw. ReFlex is my stage name in terms of dancing but i also use it in conjunction when i produce a skit or a artsy dance film.

for homework we were tasked with making another one where we were not constrained to the time limit of the class. I tried hella options but only rendered this one I think its cool but I took a cheap short cut to make it look so, animated lines and a dawg on explosion. If thats not the easiest thing to make some one say "hmm not bad" idk what is but enjoy.
